I found him on facebook and send a private message to him.

He replied:

I am OK. When I graduated from college, I had to put a hold on my independent animations. I'm working for xobni.com, doing all of their promotional and instructional animations. I'm building up the skills I'll need for a long career in animation, so no worries, there is no chance that the Story of Khale will be abandoned forever.

All hope is not lost people!
