Settle down skilled one

10/10 For originality of style and for putting some serious time into the quality and smoothness of the drawings. Awesome work, but you gotta pull it all together man. I know it's really hard to work on one thing for a long time, but perhaps you should just keep your goals more realistic. Try for a 1 minute piece, I'm sure if you kept it short you could get through it. I only wrote this review because I see a lot of talent and potential in you and I'd hate to see it wasted. Reach for greatness.

Yeah I might just be thinking too much, I'll try curbing my ambitiousness a little bit, it gets out of hand. Damn, thanks though man, that means alot coming from you =)

Wow, an Awesome? Really?

Demon, seriously... you're possibly the most original artist on NG, you're an incredible animator, and you make an Awesome clone?! Not that it was terrible, it's still better than most of the stuff out there, but why waste your time with a style that's already been beaten to death?

You've got a lot of talent, man, and time is precious to us animators, don't waste it. When you make stuff like this, you not only encourage people to shelf their originality and piggyback someone else's, but you rob us of seeing more of your own inspiring creativity. NG needs you, not more Egoraptor.

Brilliant as usual!

Chris, I love everything you do. Your unique timing, humor, and superb voice acting are delicious. Congrats on the Aniboom sponsorship, hope you're getting all you deserve. Good job man!

Sexual-Lobster responds:

glad you liked it! don't worry, aniboom feeds me twice a day, it's all I deserve...

Pretty good, but could be better

Very imaginative, I appreciate the original approach and concepts. But to me it doesn't feel like a dream at all. Instead it feels more like a random fight scene. It seems like the dream setting is more of a cop-out or a way to justify a little bit of randomness. But dreams, I feel, are even more random. I think you could push the dreaminess. Make dreamlike transitions between shots or scenes, instead of logical ones. The concept of time in dreams is often less realistic or straight-forward. Also, there was little to no character development. If it's to be a dream, I ought to know something about the way this monster thinks from the piece. So far... he's afraid of something attacking him, and would love to sail to the stars. But there should be more in his reactions, some level of emotion. I liked in your extras the shot where the beast looks down at the character and there's some level of interaction and thinking. That is character development. There must be some illusion of thought or motive (even if it's a nonsensical reason). Keep at it,

done and done, will do better next time. big fan Kevin, and in fact it was your submission that helped me hop back on the drawing board a little ways back, i've been off and on many times unfortunately... lol anyway...

you are right, there is something to be said about a dream's limitless possibilities, and perhaps i should have pushed for that feel even more. my next piece (probably not a dream) ill try to be true to the setting 100% i trust your judgement strongly even though i may not know you personally haha, your work is just too good :D so i am going to take what you said to heart and apply it.

thanks for taking the time to review and give me some constructive feedback, it won't be wasted.

Great Movie

Loved it, but I really like the music and end sequence of the untranslated version MUCH better, you should consider keeping the same ending, but just putting subtitles for the names. The music on this english version is a bit corny, while the other is more edgy and real. Thanx!

Hahahhaha, entertaining

Hahah, dispite the ridiculously poorly drawn figures, this piece had an amazing energy. Great timing and (somehow) an original use for that song that's been used billions of times. This is the most I've enjoyed something so bad!

Your best work yet!

VERY solid directing and writing, brilliant piece man! You're improving immensely and I can tell you put a lot of time and effort into this piece. The art is adequate and well used, and the music was MUA *stereotypically italian gesture*. Keep it up, of the comedy shows on NG, this one might take the cake.

eddsworld responds:

Thanks for the kind words, it means a lot coming from you!

HAhahahaha

Oh man way to jerk our expectations, beautiful set up and incredibly realistic execution. Well done!

HappyHarry responds:

That means a lot coming from you dude.

Your stuff has come on immensely well in the last few years, I like to think mine has too, but not to the same degree yours has. Looking forward to the next installment of Khale.

Brilliant!

I'm a huge fan of your work man, this is one of the most underrated series on NG. Everyone says I won't make it to 42 episodes, but check you out, you're already 20 or so into it! You're an inspiration to us all.
