Way to go!!

Great job!! Stylish, cute, and you took it to the end. Good work, loved the 3D-ness of the 'big sword' that slashed the camera. Solid work.

Ninjkabat responds:

Why thank you, Mr. Kevin. I'm glad you liked the 3-d-ness. Jeeze, I animated that part almost a year ago...

Anyway, thank you for your kind review and even kinder 10. It means a lot coming from a seasoned genious like you.

Enough

Pick a side. It's pretty hypocritical to both satire AND do exactly what you're criticizing. If your example sections had been shorter, harsher, or funnier, they might've lent merit to your arguments, but really you just did what everyone else does. I suggest ending this series now and using your animation skills on something actually original.
If you aimed to get on the front page, good job, you succeeded. But if you aimed to strike down or even just make fun of the typical newgrounds topics, you simply added one more flash to the trash heap.
You know, as well as I do, that you can do better than this.

To be honest, I never expected this movie to do as well as it has so far. As for being a hypocrite, I only created the spoofs to show how fast and easy you could make them. If I can do it in a day, so can anyone else, which is what the movie was meant to point out in the first place. As I've said before, read my user page if you get the chance, and you'll see what I have in store for legitimate projects. Some times its just fun to make a movie in a week and see what happens. Trash?

Oh, and I dug Story of Khale.

funny funny

Haha, mad props for the Time Travelling Bears song at the end, hillarious lyrics. I think this flash is pretty underrated, I'm figuring a lot of people just arent getting the level of satire (that camp counsellor had some hillarious poses). Surprisingly good animation. GJ

Thanks!

Thank you

This is really great. Extremely imaginative with influence from some really great works of art (FLCL, DBZ) but, to your credit, with your own spin on it. Well done, keep it up, I'd love to see what you can do if you tighten up and refine your work.

Looking forward to more

yeah theres lots of little things i put in just for the hell of it, my favorite is Yusuke style spirit gun :) theres also a blatant Gunnm refrence too, i thought it was so obvious, but no ones seemed to pick it up yet.

Great!! but racist =\

Amazing stuff, beautiful use of sound... but am i the only one who noticed the insensitive use of a stereotypical "african jungle man"? This is a very well made animation and i wouldn't even say he's portrayed in any negative way, but come on now. Havent we figured out already that Africans don't live in the jungle in animal hides?? Plus... black body and big red lips... you might not have noticed but that's a bit pre-1960s.

Good work.

Kankuran responds:

No, it is not a racist thing, it is a comic. This film takes place in the 1600AC, not 1960s. Black body, yes, have you never seen a black person? I have. Have you never seen white people portrayed in totally white colour?
Tarzan wears hides; he lives in the jungle, so does Sumo. Sumo has no red lips; he has a red mouth, as does many cartoons. But I know some people will react anyway.

I love animation. I love music. Leafworthy is where that comes together.
